Pastor Marvin E. Curtis, Jr has been the pastor of Warrenton Independent Baptist Church since October 1, 2006. He also served as a deacon and associate pastor under Brother Johnny Wellborn prior to being the pastor. He trusted the Lord as his Savior at the age of 12. He attended Bob Jones University as a Bible major where he met his wife Faith. They were married on August 2, 1975. After spending close to 40 years in law enforcement as a police officer, deputy sheriff, and a state trooper, he retired as Colonel of the Mississippi Highway Patrol in April of 2006. Upon the homegoing of Pastor Johnny Wellborn in September 2006, he was called as the pastor.

Brother Scotte Dodson has been the associate pastor at Warrenton Independent Baptist Church since 2008. After being saved by God's grace, he surrendered to preach the gospel of Christ. Brother Scottee and his wife Carol have been members of Warrenton since 1987. He met Carol at Utica High School and graduated in 1980. They were married in 1981 and have been married for 43 years. He worked at Marathon Letourneau as an offshore certified welder from 1981 to 1987. He also worked at several welding supply companies before he co-owned two companies. He has worked in this industry for over 40 years. At Warrenton Independent Baptist Church, he served Christ as a senior adult Sunday school teacher for over 10 years. He is serving on the board of trustees and finance committee and is also the vice president of the Warrenton Independent Baptist Mission Agency since 2006.

Sidney J. (Sonny) McGuffee, Jr. was born in Vicksburg, MS. He graduated high school from Warren Central High School in May of 1979. He married his wife, Dianne, in August of 1979. They had 3 children and now have 10 grandchildren. He graduated from Mississippi State University in 1982 as a civil engineer. He worked as a refueling engineer at the Grand Gulf Nuclear Station in Port Gibson, MS for 13 years. He surrendered to preach in 1980, and he pastored 3 different church in his 27 years of pastoring. During his years of pastoring, Brother Sonny made many trips to the mission fields. He and Dianne also took teams of young people to do mission work on foreign fields for over 14 years. He helped start S.M.I.T.E (a teen program to train them to do Bible Clubs) in Nigeria, Africa. Then Brother Sonny and Dianne surrendered, raised support, and went to Nigeria as full time missionaries in 2016. Sonny and Dianne served as missionaries in Nigeria for 5 years, and then returned to the U.S. to serve as Executive Director of Missions at Warrenton Baptist Mission Agency at Warrenton Independent Baptist Church of Vicksburg, MS where he continues to serve and help missionaries and their work.
